We got tired of telling people to wait
So two years ago we built a repair lab inside our parts warehouse. David Bentora, one of Boost's owners, runs the bench himself.
Our parts reserve and our repair lab are extra options for when a new part is backordered or no longer made. We only use them if you ask, and we always tell you exactly what's going into your system.
It's the call nobody wants. Your AC quits, the technician finds the problem fast, and then comes the word: backordered. The condenser fan motor that used to show up in two days now takes six weeks, and your house bakes the whole time.
Illustration. Real wait times depend on the part and the supplier.

It's one cracked solder joint. One burned-out component. One motor that needs cleaning and rebuilding. On our bench, that's a repair, not a replacement.
The lab is there when you ask for it: when the new part is weeks out, or your unit is old enough that nobody makes the part anymore.
Boost Certified is our own standard, not an outside certification. It's the check every rebuilt part goes through before it goes back into a system.
We open it up and find exactly what failed: the cracked joint, the burned component, the worn-out part.
Boards get their joints reworked and damaged components replaced. Motors get stripped, cleaned and rebuilt.
The part goes live on the bench, outside your system, where a problem costs nothing.
We run it and watch it work. Switching on isn't enough.
Only a part that passes every step is signed off as Boost Certified and cleared to go back in.

Furnace and air handler boards and ignition control modules. Cracked joints reworked, burned sections repaired, component by component.

Inducer, blower and fan motors, stripped, cleaned and rebuilt instead of going in the dumpster.

Heat and age burn out the small parts first. Plenty of boards are one component swap away from working again.
If it came out of a heating or cooling system and it can be saved, it's worth a look on the bench. If it can't, we tell you straight.

Not unless you choose it. A brand-new part is our standard and always our first quote. A rebuilt part from our lab only goes in when you ask for it, and we tell you exactly what you're getting before any work starts.
It's our own five-step bench check: inspect, repair or rebuild, power up, run, sign off. It's our standard, not a certification from an outside agency, and every part from our lab or our shelves goes through it.

Furnace and air handler control boards, ignition control modules, inducer, blower and fan motors, and other heating and cooling parts. If a part isn't worth saving, we say so.
No. We don't work on power supply. That's a deliberate line, not a gap: Boost holds a C-20 license, which covers heating, ventilating and air conditioning, and we keep to it.
Mention it when you call, or ask the technician during the visit. Call 818-277-5056 (San Gabriel Valley) or 747-264-6358 (San Fernando Valley).

Not every part needs a rebuild. Our warehouse keeps tested, Boost Certified parts on the shelf for the day a supplier can't deliver.
