Privacy Policy
This page explains what boost-services.com collects, why, who else receives it, and how to see, change or delete it. It is written in plain English rather than legal language, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Boost Services Heating and Cooling, CSLB license #1119892. Effective September 29, 2026.
What we collect
When you fill in the service request form, or book through Boosty, the assistant on the page, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, what the system is doing, and, if you choose to add them, your street address and the time window you prefer. We never ask for payment details anywhere on this website.
When a form is sent, our server also records the date and time, your internet (IP) address, the kind of browser you used and the page you sent it from. We use that to spot spam and to fix problems with the form.
If you apply for a job on the careers page, we collect your name, phone number, email address, years of HVAC experience, whether you hold EPA 608 certification, whether you want full-time or part-time work, and any note you add. We use it only to consider your application and contact you about it, and it is not shared outside the company.
Like most websites, ours also records how the site is used: which pages were viewed, roughly where visitors are by city, the kind of device and browser, and which site or search sent them. That comes from Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising tags, which set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. We have turned off the Google setting that would collect names, emails or phone numbers from the form automatically.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, we do not buy contact lists, and we do not build a profile or score on anyone.
How we use it
Form details are used to call you back, book the visit, and then do the job: quote it, schedule it, and keep a record of what was installed or repaired at that address so the next technician is not working blind.
Analytics data is used to see which pages help people and which do not. We read it in the aggregate, by page and by source, not person by person.
Advertising: we use Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising to show ads for our services. Their tags tell those platforms when someone who clicked an ad calls or sends the form, so we can see which ads work. They can also be used to show our ads again to people who have visited this site, on other websites and apps. Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the internet, and use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to this website.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a repair.
How long we keep it: service requests and job applications are kept on our web server for 24 months, then deleted. Submissions our spam checks turn away are deleted after 30 days. Records of work we did at your address are kept as long as the law requires.
SMS and phone contact
Filling in the form asks us to call you back, so we will. If you tick the text message box, we may also text you about that request: confirming the appointment, telling you the technician is on the way, or asking a question we need answered before we come out.
That box covers your request and nothing else. We do not send marketing texts, and ticking it does not add you to a list. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP to any message and the texts stop; reply HELP and you will get our phone number back.
Calls to and from our office may be noted in the job record so the next person you speak to knows what was already discussed.
Sharing
These are the only parties that receive information from this site or from your request:
Our own technicians and office staff, because they do the work. Jobber, our scheduling and invoicing software, which stores the job record for us. Hostinger, which hosts this website, keeps the form records on its servers and sends the form emails. Google, through Gmail, where our office inbox receives your request. Google, through Google Analytics and Google Ads. Microsoft, through Microsoft Advertising. Wisetack, but only if you choose to apply for financing; they run that application under their own privacy policy and we never see your credit information.
Other parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites. Specifically, Google and Microsoft, through the tags described above, can recognize the same browser on this site and on other sites that use their services. Their own privacy policies govern what they do with it: policies.google.com/privacy and privacy.microsoft.com.
The only other time we would hand information over is if the law required it, such as a subpoena, or to deal with a safety emergency.
Your choices
To see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, call or write to us using the details below and say which. We will do it, except for records of work performed that we are required to keep. We do not make you fill in a form to ask.
Do Not Track: this website does not currently change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal or Global Privacy Control setting. We say that plainly because California law asks us to. What does work is below.
To stop ads based on your visits here: use Google’s Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com, Microsoft’s at account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings, or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out at optout.networkadvertising.org. You can also reset your device’s advertising identifier, or block cookies and tracking scripts in your browser; the site works the same with them blocked. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not show a cookie banner. California follows an opt-out model rather than asking for consent up front, and this company is below the size at which the California Consumer Privacy Act applies. We follow its central rules anyway: we do not sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it.
Contact
Call 818-277-5056 for the San Gabriel Valley or 747-264-6358 for the San Fernando Valley, email info.boostservices.la@gmail.com, use the contact form, or write to 1055 E Colorado Blvd, Suite 500, Pasadena, CA 91106.
Changes to this policy: if we change what we collect or who receives it, we update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change affects information you have already given us, we will tell you when we next contact you about your service.
If something on this page turns out not to match what the website actually does, tell us and we will fix the page. That is a real offer, not boilerplate.
